This work is a response to the explosive influence of artificial intelligence.

An abstract human form - composed of steel, referencing the last great industrial revolution of the 18th and 19th centuries, incorporates the opening words of the bible, Genesis,  “In the beginning,” translated into binary code - serving as a metaphor for the evolving human identity in an AI-driven world.

It reflects how technology is reshaping our understanding of self and society. 

The binary code underscores the shift from traditional narratives to machine-mediated interpretations, prompting viewers to consider how AI will redefine society.

This juxtaposition invites reflection on its impact on culture and communication. 

It is designed to challenge viewers to contemplate the implications of AI’s role in shaping our cultural narratives and asks us to reflect on what might be the outcomes as we entrust more of our expression and understanding to machines.
